With over 20 years as a licensed clinical social worker in New York City and Los Angeles, Jamie Holzmann specializes in pediatric and adult mental health, serious illness, and palliative care. For the past decade, she has been a key member of an inpatient palliative care team at a major Los Angeles hospital, supporting families through life-limiting illnesses, death, and grief. Jamie excels at helping adults and caregivers communicate with children about death and serious illness, from toddlers to adolescents, empowering families with resources and meaning during difficult times.

Renowned for her honesty, compassion, and expertise, Jamie holds a B.S. from the University of Texas at Austin, an MSW from New York University, and an Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Social Worker (ACHP-SW) credential from the National Association of Social Work.
